Hi! I’m Rachel Lee,
The Smiley Naturopath!
I am a new mother of an enthusiastic toddler girl; a huge smiley enthusiast 🤩, and I am an Australian-certified and trained Naturopath.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Naturopathy and a Master’s degree in Herbal Medicines, with over a decade’s experience working with patients and clients in clinics, health food stores and corporate settings.
I started this website and my consulting practice as part of my mission to increase awareness and advocate the benefits of evidence-based nutritional therapy, herbal medicine and nutraceuticals so that everyone can make informed choices to achieve their respective health goals.

Why Naturopathy?
My journey into complementary medicines began with the intention of seeking an alternative treatment for my mother who was suffering from “phantom pains” due to an unexpected amputation. No amount of physiotherapy, analgesics or pain specialist visits was able to give sustainable management plans for her condition.
And personally, I had struggled with an unhealthy relationship with food due to long-term digestive issues – I was constantly questioning if my next meal was going to make me suffer again. It was through my studies that I developed a deeper understanding of the mind, body and soul connection, especially on learning that the gut is our second brain and that it has a profound effect on our mental-emotional wellness. Since then, my gut has been great with healthier eating habits and the application of mindfulness.
Being healthy should be joyful.

Educating you for the better!
As I continued my voyage into naturopathy, I discovered a vast amount of the population self-medicating leading to polypharmacy, not realizing the potential issues of herb-nutrient-drug interactions. This led to my passion in nutritional & herbal supplement education and how to best complement its uses with allopathic medicine.
I hope to share my knowledge so that you can be attuned to your own body and health. I want to empower you to make informed choices for your health, by embracing the healing power of nature and understanding the reasons that prevention is better than cure. I want to get you excited about your health; to boost your confidence and stay joyful while achieving optimal vitality.
Why so? Because in the end, you are your best doctor.
Yours smilingly,
Rachel L.
